This Il-14 was built by VEB Flugzeugbau Dresden in 1958. It served a short life as a government aircraft as "DM-VAD", and was soon thereafter delivered to the East German Air Force as ''482''. The aircraft was withdrawn from use on 1 December 1982, and now rests in the Woods of Finow, a former Sovjet Air Base 30 milies north-east of Berlin.
