8 years Ryanair Operations at Weeze

Since the opening in 2003 Ryanair is active at Airport Weeze. They started with service to London-Stansted three times per day. An important milestone was reached in the summer of 2007 wenn Weeze became a Ryanair base. Today the base hosts seven B737-800 aircraft and flies to 46 destinations. Weeze is very popular amongst the German as well as the Dutch travelers. Since 2003 Ryanair transported 9.5 million passengers of wich 2.7 million in 2010 alone. This summer Ryanair flies for the first time to Greece from Weeze as well as Cyprus and Palermo in Italy.
